Greenhouses

The days when fresh vegetables, fruits, berries and greens were available only in the summer-autumn period have gone long ago. Today, the direction of greenhouses is quite relevant. But greenhouse farming requires special knowledge and experience, without which it is impossible to get a good harvest.

For successful crops cultivation in greenhouses it is necessary to adhere to the following conditions – optimal humidity, proper temperature, adequate ventilation, appropriate soil quality, as well as proper care. There are special requirements for the soil quality, because the soil should contain all nutrients, trace elements and organic fertilizers, including nitrogen.

The main challenge in greenhouses is the problem of cleanliness because the temperature and humidity cause the growth of fungi and attract pests.

Experience shows that compliance with preventive measures which involves the application of biological products in the greenhouses reduces the number of pests up to 60%. The use of such products also has a positive effect on seed germination, seedling survival and fruiting period.

The use of multifunctional biological products based on Effective Microorganisms® in the greenhouse crops cultivation activates the beneficial microflora of the soil, suppresses pathogens, accelerates the decomposition of organic matter, strengthens the plant defence capacity, increasing the crops resistance to the negative effects of insect pests and improves plant immunity.
